Wood Briquettes

Additive-free compressed hardwood briquettes — dense, low-moisture and long-burning, pressed from sawmill by-product without glue or binders.

High-Density Fuel, Compressed Not Bonded

Our briquettes are pressed from dried, screened hardwood by-product under high mechanical pressure until the wood's own lignin binds it into a dense log — no glue, wax or chemical binder is used. The result is a low-moisture, high-density fuel that burns steadily with noticeably less ash than untreated firewood.

We supply both standard hardwood heating briquettes and compressed charcoal briquettes, sold loose, shrink-wrapped in packs, or palletised for distribution.

FAQ

Wood Briquettes — Frequently Asked Questions

Are your briquettes made with glue or additives?

No. Briquettes are compressed under high mechanical pressure only — the natural lignin in the wood binds the material as it compacts.

How long do wood briquettes burn compared to firewood?

Because they are far denser and lower in moisture than split firewood, briquettes typically burn longer and produce less ash for the same stove-load.

Do you also supply charcoal briquettes?

Yes — alongside hardwood heating briquettes we supply compressed charcoal briquettes for grilling and foodservice use. See our Charcoal page for details.
